I finally got a picture of the hawk. Here he is on the roof of my house at the oposite end of the pond. I couldn't get very close because he would of flown away. I managed to get 2 shots of him. I am going to the nature preserve tomorrow to get advice on how to deter him once again.
ETA on 6-12-09: I talked to the naturalists last night at the Farbach Werner Nature Perserve and they informed me that this hawk is a red tail. Earlier in the year we had a red shoulder. I knew he looked different but I thought he was an immature red shoulder. I was wrong. LOL Now to keep him away from my pond and fish. This is easier said than done.

ReplyDeleteI am wiped out, cleaned for seven hours and the basement looks a lot better. About 2-3 more hours and it will be completly done. Not tomorrow though, going to a big flea market and then stop at a quilt shop near there.
My new glasses came in too. Can`t wait to see if I SEE better!! lol
